چکیده:

This paper deals with the formulation and the evaluation of a finite volume approach for the bending analysis of beam with shear deformation . the capabilities and accuracy of the method in the prediction of beam bending behavior are investigated in several benchmark problems. Numerical results obtained by the developed algorithm show monotonic convergence to the analytical solutions and interstingly shear locking is not observed in thin beam analysis.
