چکیده:

Development of RO worldwide applications is rapidly increased. Therefore, it is necessary to compile the respective knowledge and theories for correct implementation, simulation and design of this technology in our industries. In recent years, many studies have been done and a lot of models, evaluated using experimental data, have been presented. Because of the variety of the processes in which RO have been applied, the presented models are various, too. In this article, common fundamentals in RO modeling have been described and then classified. The main propose has been to converge and present the most suitable model for RO systems, without any attention to the kind of applications.
