چکیده:

Hepatitis C Vinis (HCV) is an emerging virus of medical importance. A majority of HCV inferctions become chronic that ultimately can lead to liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Interfron (IFN) plays a critical role in host’s natiral defense against viral infection as well as treatment. It is the one of the recognized way of therapy for HCV infection. However many virus isolates are resistant to IFN. The genotype of the virus, its genetic heterogenecity and several HCV proteins have been shown to possess properties that can enable the virus to have resistanve against IFN therapy.
HCV Genotype 1 has been demonstrated to be more resistant isolate than ither genotype against IFN and recognition is important for patient care.
