چکیده:

As pollution caused by fossil fuels becomes critical in many parts of the world, clean energies such as solar energy has attracted a lot of attention. Solar bath is a well-known device, mainly used to prepare hot water for houses, but recent advancement in technology has allowed further applications in small industries and places like hotels and hospitals. In this study, a solar bath was constructed and used in Khuzestan Province to collect experimental data at various climatic conditions. Then a thermal fin was designed and added to the system in order to increase its efficiency. The experiments with and without thermal fin were conducted. Finally the results were compared and showed thatpresence of thermal fin had a significant effect on the amount of absorption of thermal radiation energy and by using more suitable fins, better results may be obtained.
