The formability of TWB in a deep drawing process depends on different parameters such as base material properties, weld line position and weld properties. In this paper a statistical approach of maximum achievable draw depth in a TWB, which consist of two pieces of same thickness, but different material properties for a circular cup have been studied. This method can help to achieve an expression to predict the maximum achievable draw depth in a TWB. The given expression can help designers to predict the maximum achievable draw depth of TWB in a deepdrawing process with a lower waste of time and cost. The numerical data which has been verified by experimental tests have been used to propose a regression equation for prediction of drawing depth of a TWB with knowing the maximum drawing depth of its basic components.
