A two-dimensional adaptive mesh is constructed and applied to the collocation meshless method. The meshless type method use some scattered points and empliy some special calss of functions, known as Radial Basis Functions (RBFs). The RBF interpolation often suffers from ill-conditioning which is sensitive to the size of the underlying problem. Since the adaptive mesh techniques try to use a minimum number of mesh points, it can be a treatment for ill-conditioning. Some experimental results will be presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
