چکیده:

In this paper, finite element formulations are derived for the active control of functionally graded material (FGM) plates containing piezoelectric sensor/actuator patches. A new feedback control algorithm is used to couple the direct and converse piezoelectric effects to control the response of structure under mechanical and thermal loads. The effects of constituent volume fraction (n), the configuration of the S/A pairs and the velocity and displacement feedback control gains on the static and dynamic response of the structure under mechanical and thermal loads are studied. The results of the present work are compared with the previously reported results and FE code ANSYS, where available
