چکیده:

One of the most important and interesting group of processes that exhibit difficulty in control problems, are neutralization or generally pH process. In this paper the performance of a Globally Linearizing Controller (GLC) designed based on the pH minimal order model is evaluated. The adaptive version of GLC can take into account the variation of process stream titration curve. The effectiveness of adaptive GLC has been demonstrated through computer simulation and experimental studies and compared with the performance of adaptive strong acid equivalent (SAE) algorithm. The results indicate that the performance of adaptive GLC is superior.
