چکیده:

The theory of adaptive training relays opens new trend in the relay protection theory – recognizing and analysis of disturbance processes and situations in the power system by using the over-all available information. The applications of theory confirming this trend to he fruitfull and accenting it’s prospects in accordance with microprocessor apparatus are noted. The main applications are devoted in main to transmission lines, but the develop approach and technics are universal.
The tasks of determination and analysis of disturbance processes, including the relay protection problems, need the solving technics according to modern computing instruments. The theory seems to be developed as the external software for the digital disturbance recorders- It containes three parts. First – digital processing of electrical inputs (input values proportional to current or voltage of electrical network)has the information base creation as a purpose. The second – the estimation of the parameters of the fault object model – is to use this base. The third – making more precise parameters – is treatied as training relay protection on the results of exploitation. It’s neccessary to find algorithms for the high level
information system used as arbiter that can create at most great wide data base and Use it without methodical mistakes. No doubt. may be completed with the only adaptive training algorithms. Ones tested at high level become especial valuable , because of they point to evolution for the relay protect . on aIgorithms For Mot -arise, the precision fault location method’ plays such role for distance protection. Being remoeved to real time area that algorithms may be interpreted as adaptive training relays, therefore this brief notion includes the over-all problems of detecting the faults.
