چکیده:

A primary necessity for the realization of sustainable concrete structures is today a better integration between research, design and construction. The result of such integration is the definition of physical models that, at the same time, should respect the most recent research issues, are clearly understandable by designers and reflect the construction procedures. Modern International and Regional Design Codes for concrete structures are based on this design approach, with the intent to bring on the same level of attention the aspects related to safety, functionality and durability. In the paper some recent design models related to those limit states are presented in detail
