Agent-based simulations enable the simulation of social phenomena by representing human behaviors. Human actions such as evacuating to safe havens or emergency response in disaster areas are important during earthquakes. This paper aims to develop the agent-based simulation model of wayfinding for rescue operations, based on landmarks remained after earthquake. This model defines rescue operations, which collects information from surroundings, such as roads and situation of damaged structures. Furthermore, this model constructs a simulation platform which enables to act as an agent autonomously. Our simulation model focuses on information exchange between agents and landmarks which have not been damaged after earthquake. These landmarks are buildings extracted from vulnerability maps and assets. Using the risk maps we are able to estimate risk-prone areas and send rescue operation to these regions .This model provides instructions on how to find the way to get to a selected destination with the landmarks. There are special conditions after earthquake that agent’s actions are based upon them. Finally we determine appropriate routes for emergency responses after the earthquake based upon these conditions.
