چکیده:

This article describes an analytical model for laser beam cutting of metals which has been developed for ready application in practice. Using the model of a line- type source of heat, heat conduction in laser cutting of metals is calculated analyticaly This method is modeled theoretically for high cutting velocities assuming that light absorption occurs according to the classical Fresnel formulae. The theoretical prediction kerf width is confirmed by measurement in laser cutting experiment.
