An efficient extended environment for dynamic modeling and numerical simulation of flexible dynamical systems is presented Using ANSYS, ADAMS and MATLAB/SIMULINK softwares. Attitude dynamics and control of a flexible space structure is considered for demonstration of the proposed approach. A finiteelement model of the elastic substructure is constructed in ANSYS. In order to obtain a complete model of the system, assembling of the rigid and flexible subsystems being carried out in ADAMS environment. The model is exported to MATLAB/SIMULINK environment for numerical simulation and implementation of the control laws. It is shown that the proposed approach is more effective and convenient in modeling and simulation of the flexible dynamical systems.
