چکیده:

This paper proposes an enhanced adaptive least bit error rate (LBER) algorithm for linear multiuser detectors (MUD| employed in wideband code
division multiple access (WCDMA) networls The channel is considered to be frequency selective fading plus noise. The performance: steady state BER and convergence speed of the proposed algorithm ,s evaluated and compared with that of the LBER through computer simulations.Simulation results show that the steady slate BER ofthe proposed algorithm is 4% ofthe LBER algorithm while both algorithms converge with almost the same speed
