چکیده:

In this article the test results of the super light WIG-craft “Thunder 2” which was designed and built in Air Naval Research Center of the Malek Ashtar Technical University (Shiraz, Islamic Republic of Iran), is analyzed. The results show that steady running and take off is possible using only one step. Increasing transverse deadrise angle is useful. The role of spray deflectors and also the angle between horizontal tail and axis of propeller are too important. Results of take off stability, spraying and planing course keeping may be used in the designing and building of the future WIGcraft
