چکیده:

The electromagnetic field environment associated with transmission lines and its influence upon nearby pipelines has been of considerable interest during the last several years. Assessing the severity of potential rise at the main pipeline points helps the designers, if required, to, take appropriate countermeasures. The paper discusses different computation methods used to evaluate the interferences. The circuit approach is selected and technical and mathematical models are presented. The interference of a typical 400 kV transmission line of the Iranian power
system upon a comprehensive model of a pipeline, which includes different configurations to the transmission line, is investigated. Effect of points of grounding, loading of the power line and geometrical structure of the transmission line is considered and the results are shown.
