چکیده:

Located on the conglomerate formations, the power plant Masjede-soleiman dam has faced some cracks in its concrete linear. These cracks are shear and flexure and their continuous frowth have never stopped for two years. Many factors were thought to be the reason of the problem including cavern extension blasting, water impoundment, groundwater level increasing, geotechnical situations, the malfunction of cut-off curtain, weakness in design and constructing the concrete linear or a combination of these. Because of structural cracks, pressure act the wall should be greater that ultimate pressure that can be carried by wall. According to the analysis, the pressure is more than estimated loads and a applicable salutation has been proposed for this solution.
