چکیده:

Damage indexes consider different aspects of structural response with the objective of producing a quantitative measure of structural damages. In this paper, damage indexes based on deformation and energy parameters are investigated in order to analyze seismic damage of a group of steel moment frames. Selected frames were designed and controlled based on the spectrum of Iranian Earthquake Code 2800 and subjected to a set of ground acceleration records from real earthquakes. The results show the degree of global damages according to the vibration periods of structures. Also, results reveal the distribution of damages along the height of frames against different earthquakes
