چکیده:

Zeolites are the Alumina/silica porous crystals that can be used in the chemical reactions. Some zeolites
are the more strong acid solids, and these solids are the main use of the zeolites in the fixed and mobile beds,
in the catalytic processes.
The basic group of the industrial chemical reactions is catalyzed whit H+ form zeolites. These protons
which are located in the zeolite pores enhance the acidity of these zeolites and this property increases the use
of the zeolites in the organic chemical reactions such as crude oil cracking, isomerizasion and fuel synthesis
in the zeolite membrane reactors.
Also other active metals can be located through the zeolite pores and produce the catalytic materials whit
the individual properties. Catalytic zeolites that are usually named shape selective catalyses have the pore
size of the 3-8 Angstrom and have the high stability in the basic and acidic ambient and high temperatures.
These particular properties made many more applications for the zeolites, in the separation and chemical
reaction.[1]
In this paper the zeolites , due to the individual properties, are nominated as a proper candidate for
separation and chemical reaction systems, also it is indicated to the chemical reactions in which zeolites are
used for the different aims. Then mentioned to the zeolite membranes that are applied in the membrane
reactors and finally the chemical reactions done in the zeolite membrane reactors are reviewed.
