چکیده:

In this paper, a variational iteration method is utilized to study the classical Blasius equation. Correction functionals vital to this method are obtained by using general Lagrange multipliers. Variation theory is employed to establish the multipliers in the functionals optimally. The solution approximated by the proposed VIM are shown to be precise as compared to the corresponding results obtained by ADM and Howarth’s numerical method.
