چکیده:

In a comprehensive study of different altemative design presented by Lwin [1], Dusenbuerry et al. [2] and moe [3], the concept of floating bridge with gravity anchors has been concluded as an opitimal design. In essence, the floating bridge are classified as two different types of discrete and continuous pontoons. Most of floating bridge in Unites States are continuous typs (First, Second and Third Lake washington floating bridge, the Original and new wast half of the hood canal bridge), the discrete type of flating bridge has been used in Norway, Bersoysund and Nordhordland bridges, due to different geographic and environmental conditions. Bpth flating bridges in Norway consist of a steel superstructure arch shaped in plan and has been placed on concrete pontoons [4,5,6]
