In this paper, power and speed regulation of Automotive Gas Turbine (AGT) have been studied because of its wide application in industry and transportation at last decade. Two multivariable feedback control laws have been considered and compared using some technical design notes and simulation results. Control strategies comprise Characteristic Loci (C.L), and polynomial calculation (P.C) method whilst employing inner-loop controller. The paper contains a brief discussion of the capabilities of these two multivariable controllers to achieving satisfactory properties.
