Development of alternative energy (i.e. wind and solar) technology is remarkable world widely in recent years Germany. U.S.A. Denmark and many other countries are leading on this matter and as result up to 10% of their total system capacity is supplied by these renewable energies. Presently, very, fast growth of renewable energy ties. particularly solar and wind energies is seen. Regarding Wind Power. so far. many studies are done for such studies and many qualified reports were released. However. most of these reports are focused on mid and large-scale wind generation (mostly. from 300kW to 1000kw) Particularly. optimal allocation. landscape problem and grid connection. etc. are mainly. focused. How ever. there is lack of studies on generations and their availability fo r residential areas. In this stud,,,. we stud-,. the roof-inounted small-scale wind turbine and evaluate the availability and locality. characteristics of this turbine in a residential area.
