چکیده:

The biosorption from artificial wastewaters of heavy metals (Cu﴾ІІ﴿ and Cr﴾VI ( ﴿ onto the living mycelium pellets of white-rot fungus phanerochaete chrysosporium was studied in the batch mode.Biosorption equilibrium was stablished after about 120 min.The fungus biomass exhibited the highest sorption capacity for Cu﴾ІІ﴿ at pH 6.0 and for Cr﴾VI) at pH 3.0.The results suggest that such a biosorbent has the potential to be used in the industrial removal/recovery of pollutant metal ions from aqueous solution.
