چکیده:

Forming Limit Diagrams (FLDs) are calculated based on analyses proposed by Jones and Gillis. They idealized the sheet metal deformation into three phases: (Ι) homogeneous deformation up to maximum load, (ΙΙ) deformation localization under constant load, and (ΙΙΙ) local necking with a precipitous drop in load. In the current analysis, Hill’s quadratic flow law for sheets having planar isotropy is used in conjunction with the three-stage deformation approximation. Calculated FLDs are compared with experimentally determined result for interstitial free (IF) sheet.
