چکیده:

A method based on chemical reaction and precipitation was developed for elimination of mercury in industrial wastewaters. The concentration of mercury in industrial wastewater was determined by cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry before and after the chemical elimination. odium sulfide and sodium polysulfide were used for the elimination of mercury in industrial wastewaters. It was found that the chemical method is able to remove about 90% of the total mercury from industrial wastewaters
