چکیده:

Morphological studies were conducted under SEM and metallurgical Microscope. This included isolated spark craters produced by individual and successive spark as well the typical characteristics of the spark eroded surfaces and their transverse sections. The SEDM surface formed by the overlapping craters and residual metal in the crater rims. The WEDM surfaces did not exhibit the pinholes or cracking behavior. When the transverse sections of the machined surfaces were examined, the resolidified layer of metal was observed on SEDM specimens. The WEDM surfaces do not exhibit any such resolidified layer.
