چکیده:

In this work, simulation of membrane separation and multi-stage condensation methods for vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) recovery was carried out by HYSYS. In order to simulate membrane unit, a spiral wound module was simulated. Energy consumption and off-gas of each recovery process was determined. Obtained results indicate that multistage condensation process is more energy-intensive and air-polluted than membrane separation process.
