چکیده:

Turbine blades are subjected to degradation by embrittlement, creep, thermal fatigue ,oxidation and synergistic effects among the above. Development of techniques to assess the extent of degradation of the blades under these conditions have a significant and favourable economic impact. The present study investigates the use of Monkman–Grant and the modified Monkman–Grant equation for the life prediction of IN738 blades on the basis of creep data.
