چکیده:

High voltage test systems are widely used to perform various tests in several fields of the electric power industry. In this paper, after a brief review of some general requirements and standards for a high-voltage test system, the design and simulation results of a particular 600kV/200kVA AC test system have been presented. According to these results, the system meets voltage, power, and partial discharge requirements defined by the IEC standards. Also, the simulation of the electric field on the top electrodes has been performed using the Finite Difference Method. Practical measurements of a 200kV/5kVA scale-down pilot test system confirm the design and simulation results.
