چکیده:

A six-degree of freedom robot is designed by using Computer Aided Design methods. Where necessary, design optimization is carried out. After virtual simulation and assembly, this robot is manufactured using the Computer Aided Manufacturing facilities. The robot can be controlled by the developed software. The user can send the robot end effector through the selected path to an end point in cartesian space. Attachments such as a grinding or a polishing wheel can be mounted in the end effector where dies and molds can be ground and polished. Work is progressing alsoto provide machine vision capability.
