چکیده:

Nowadays mines and mining corporations are generating a large amount of data in their daily activities. To have an integrated look to mining operation, it is important to compose these data with data that are related to mineral suppliers and customers. One of the most useful and effective tools to enter, store, report, and utilize these data and support decision making in mining is using relational databases. Iran, as a developing country with kinds of mineral resources, is investing in its mining industry. Paying attention to the value of information and informing in different basis to solve the need of researchers, experts and mineral investors and existence of useful and concentrated information of mines and giving up to date, technical and scientific information in shortest time is one of the most important necessities in mining industry in Iran. So, in this paper the process of design and construct an integrated relational database with capability of up to date important affective parameters for decision making for open pit mines in Iran with the focus on production cycle is described. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to visualize, construct and document the development and Structured Query Language (SQL) is used to implementation of the database system
