چکیده:

The discovery of carbon nanotubes (CNT) offers exciting opportunities for the development of novel high property materials in many industries such as chemical process, polymer technology and civil engineering. This article reviews recent progress that had been made on dispersity of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MCNT) in aqueous solutions. Dispersity and stability of MCNT in aqueous solutions are critical challenges that must be met to successfully produce such high property materials, since carbon nanotubes tend to self-associate into aggregates. Carbon nanotubes have been reported to be soluble in the aqueous micellar solution of some detergents and in the aqueous solutions of polymers
