چکیده:

In this study, the vibration and stability of orthotropic plates, moving on an elastic foundation or elastic supports and subjected to in-plane forces, are investigated by classical plate theory. An exact solution based on the dynamic stiffness methods is developed for multi-span moving plates on elastic foundation . the capacity of the proposed methods investigated by some examples . the natural frequencies and critical speed of such plates obtained by the method can be served as a benchmark for checking the accuracy of other numerical methods.
