چکیده:

A series of bifunctional catalysts Cu-ZnO-Al2O3- ZrO2/ Na-Mordenite with different ZrO2 and Al2O3 contents were prepared and characterized by specific surface area (BET) and XRD analyses. This catalytic system was evaluated for the development of the direct synthesis of theDME from CO2 hydrogenation in three phase slurry reactor at T=250⁰C and P=20bar. Results indicated that, both of ZrO2 and Al2O3 enhanced conversion, but Al2O3 profoundly increased selectivity of the DME. However, when the total contents of Al2O3 and ZrO2 was increased above16 wt%, the conversion and selectivity noticeably decreased which may be related to lowering of the amount of active sites of copper on hybrid catalysts.
