Pistachio product makes a specialimportance in the agricultural production on iran and contains large portion of non-petroleum exportation. Aflatoxin as secondary metabolites produced by the fungus Aspegillus flavus on pistachio fruits is potent toxic which produced afltoxin and reduces our competition on global pistachio markets. Some countries , particularly USA ad Iran’s rival in pistachio global markets attempt to improve their situations and gain in global war of pistachio production and export by defecting Iran. It is necessary that Iran observe international standards and make investments in marketing and exporting processing industries. We haveto find new target market for this product, particularly by eliminating fungal infection and aflaxion production on even one pistachio . in this sudy, existing position and challenges of major pistachio producing and its exporting in Iran other countries are considered and a number of strategies are recommended.
