Stability and deposition yield of TiO2 particles is investigated in Isopropanol (IPA) as a solvent and Triethanolamine (TEA) as a dispersant. In order to examine the effect of TEA on the stability of TiO2, 30 days sedimentation test was used. In addition, the particle size distribution of TiO2 particles was determined by Malvern Nano-ZS. Electrophoretic Deposition was applied under the electrical field of 20 V/cm for 5-60s in two different suspensions which contains and does not contain TEA. It is shown that TEA is the effective dispersant for increasing the stability and decreasing the agglomeration of TiO2 in IPA. On the other hand, TEA increases the rate of deposition by 3 times.
