چکیده:

Objective: Rainbow trout is one of the important spices in aquaculture industry in Iran. Nowadays immune stimulant food additives are going to attract more attention. One such food is Ergosan, which is produced from dried seaweeds (Sought Atlantic Ocean). In this study, the aim was to evaluate the effect of Ergosan (Shiring Plav Co. UK) on growth factors of rainbow trout (1 gram weight).
Method and materials: During the study, 7500 fish, divided in 5 experimental groups, randomly (n=1500). The control group was fed by diet, without Ergosan and the rest of 4 groups, group 1 to group 4, were fed by same diet plus 1, 2, 3 and 4 kg/tone Ergosan, respectively, for two months. We did biometry fortnightly and recorded the production factors including weight gain, perpetuity rate and food conversion index.
Results and conclusion: Statistic analyzes showed that, the best production factors were in third group and control group had the least growth rate. Fish (1 gram weight) where kept in 12 degree centigrade and fed with food additives (3 kg/tone) had the most significant difference
with control group (p<0.05).
