چکیده:

Dispersion of carbon nanotubes in a polycarbonate matrix was investigated and the most efficient dispersion parameters under varying flow conditions were determined. Area ratio (Ar) decreased with increasing total shear strain rate, while volume resistivity decreased with decreasing area ratio. An optimum value of Ar for conductivity is observed. The total shear strain rate has been identified as one of the most important critical dispersion parameters. A direct relationship exists between total shear strain rate and dispersion of CN in PC under shear flow conditions.
