چکیده:

Electrical conductivity of a Carbon Black (CB)-filled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) /polypropylene (PP) polymer blend were investigated. CB particles were first compounded with PET. Then CB/PET composite was subsequently compounded with PP to make the conductive composite. Electrical conductivity investigations showed that the percolation threshold and resistivity values are dependent on the CB concentration. The morphological observation showed that the CB particles did overwhelmingly localize in the surfaces of the PET phases, which led to a very low percolation threshold, i.e., 3.5 phr, and a good conductivity.
