چکیده:

In this work new monolayer-protected films were prepared from gold nanoparticles (GNPs) coated with dichlorodicyanoquinone-dodecanethiol (DDQ-C12thiol) onto the gold surface and studied electrochemically using CV and EIS methods. Furthermore, control experiments with the dodecanethiol coated GNPs were carried out. It was found that the electron transfer occurs in accordance with the diffusion principles and some of the electrochemical parameters such as diffusion coefficient and rate constant for electron hopping were evaluated.
