چکیده:

polypyrrole (PPy) nanowires film was electrochemically deposited on a platinum electrode by normal pulse voltammetric (NPV) method in 0.10M LiClO4 solution. From the observation of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), PPy nanowires with a diameter in the range of 40–۶۰ nm was obtained. Galvanostatic charge–discharge experiments (CD) and cyclic voltammetric (CV) studies were carried out in order to investigate the applicability of this system as a redox supercapacitor. From the results of charge-discharge tests at the constant discharge current of 10mA/cm2, a high specific capacitance of 496 F.g−۱ was obtained in LiClO4 as electrolyte.
