The selective and sensitive detection of H2O2 is becoming increasingly important because of its wide and various applications in several fields such as food, pharmaceutical, and environmental analysis. Compared with titrimetry, spectrometry and chemiluminescence, electrochemistry has been proved to be a sensitive, inexpensive and effective way to examine H2O2 [1].In recent years, the electrochemical sensors based on nanomaterials have been introduced. Fast growth in this field is due to their special physical and chemical properties such as increasing the surface area, mass transport and catalysis. Recently, we proposed carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) as a high performance electrode with many good features and provision of high rates of electron transfer [2,3]. In our previous studies we introduced a simple method for fabrication of arrays of palladium nanoparticles on the CILE and demonstrated its electrocatalytic behaviour towards different analytes [4,5].In this work we report fabrication of silver nanoparticle electrodeposited on CILE using Double-pulse technique as an electrochemical tool for controlling the preparation of silver nanoparticles in order to investigate hydrogen peroxide reduction.The electrocatalytic properties of the silver nanoparticles depend on their dimension and the amount deposited on the electrode surface. The methodology used in here is superior to many of the previously reported methods for silver electrodeposition [6], because there is no need for the tedious steps of film preparation and anodic stripping
