چکیده:

This paper presents the development, modelling and then simulation of the combustion process for engine mapping and calibration purposes in a spark ignition internal combustion engine. The mathmatical equation describing the combustion process are developed and the combustion process will be modelled using these equations. The combustion process is then modelled and simulated using block diagram algebra. Once the combustion process is simulated and all the conditions for the process have been set, then certain variables can be changed and optimised for the best possible combustion.
