The main aim of this investigation was to reach a performance Self Compacting Concrete (PSCC) , i.e.a Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) with a compressive strength more than 50 MPa . Therefore, different mixes of SCC were casted and some of fresh and hardened concrete properties were tested. Based on the result obtained , two types of SCC and PSCC mixes were selected for further investigation. For the selected mixes, the fresh concrete properties such as values of the Slump Flow, L-Box, J-Ring and V-Funnel tests were measured and the Engineering properties of hardened PSCC such as compressive and flexural strength, shrinkage and swelling values were investigated experimentally at short and long terms and were compared to SCC mixes. The result show that the use of PSCC can improve the Engineering properties of SCC up to 70%.
