چکیده:

various measures have been developed against sources of air, water and soil pollution and have proven effective to a certain degree, however ,there are still some unsolved problems with regard to air pollution and yet other new problem such as hazardous chemical substances have arisen. in addition to developing economically feasible measures for energy and resource conservation that are applicable to small to medium size source of pollution ,it is necessary to develop technology to directly clean polluted environment. Strong contenders as environmentallyharmonious catalysts are photocatalysts that ope rate at room temperature and in a clean manner ,while application of such safe photocatalytic system are urgently desired for the purification of polluted water ,the decomposition of offensive atmospheric odor as well as toxins, the fixation of C02 and the decomposition of NOx and chlorofluorocarbon on a huge global scale .to address such enormous tasks, photocatalytic system that are able to operate effectively and efficiently not only under UV light but also under the most environmentally ideal energy source ,sunlight, must be established
