In this paper, several equivalent circuits for a single layer silicon solar cell are verified. The influences of each model’s parameters on the otilpr.tt
characteristics are evaluatedfor each model The aim is to represent the role and the importance of each parameter on the accuracy of cell modelling. For these purposes, three essential specifications ofthe cell short circuil current density, open circuit voltage and maximum generated power and their trends with changing the input parameters or variations of stnrctural factors are considered. Regarding the temperah.tre and irradiance effects in details, the results of implementation of these models are compared with the measured data of a real cell. Finally, some
intprovementsin cell modelling are proposed.
