چکیده:

In recent years, applications of gas hydrates have been intensively studied in the fields of energy and environmental management. To implement such hydrate-related technologies, development of data about the effective parameters on the hydrate formation would be necessary. The present study experimentally demonstrated the mechanical effects on the methane hydrate formation in the system of methane + water. Experiments have been carried out to investigate the effects of volume of water quantity, stirrer velocity and impeller type on the methane hydrate formation rate; the maximum hydrate formation rate and the methane hydrate formation time.
