Recent research undertaken at the wavelength at the Centre for Lasers and Applications into wavelength versatile Raman lasers in the visible and ultraviolet is summarized. For visible output, we report a 532nm pumped Raman laser generating up to 1.5 W output on single or multiple wavelengths with optical-toopticalconversion efficiencies up to 60%. For ultraviolet output, we report a 532 nm pumped Raman laser with intracavity nonlinear sum frequency mixing providing discretely tunable output in the range 266-320 nm.
