چکیده:

Among the recent methods proposed for extraction of ECG characteristic points, we chose to work on methods based on Wavelet transform, which lead to more accurate results in analyzing non-stationary signals such as ECG. The selected wavelet is quadratic spline wavelet. A modified algorithm is presented and evaluated using MITBIH Arrhythmia database. Experimental results show excellent performance of the proposed method.
